Morten Klitgaard has a superior ability to constantly move the boundaries of glass, in a unique ability to combine technical ability with artistic innovation, whereby his works become a display of the glass’s unique possibilities.
Finally, Klitgaard’s works show a beautiful and clear affiliation with his origins, which adds a crucial authenticity.
Morten Klitgaard was born in Lønstrup in 1981.
The award recipient will receive a special exhibition at the Hempel Glass Museum in the spring of 2022.
